As a website dingeser myself I like to look at posts like this. Thankfully this was a rel good list of questions/ things to look out for. Also thankfully I pass the test on all 3 items. While I may do the domain registration, I use the clients name and email for the registration. I even use their credit card when possible. While I do most of my development offline I ALWAYS give them the ftp login ( kind of goes with the domain / website host) And last I generally develop using Joomla CMS with the goal of making it very easy for the client to update content themselves.
